Voyage to Kythera ...
Known in the modern times as Tsirigo, Kythera is the southest of the Ionian Islands. The many natural beauties, the small beaches, the monuments of human presence, and the hospitality of the people, calms the visitors. There should also be considered that for the ancient Kythera was the island of the birth of the goddess of love, Aphrodite. Kythera are just below the last tip of Peloponnese. The geographical location is situated between the Ionian Sea, Myrtoo sea and the Cretan Sea which makes it the focal point to and from the Eastern Mediterranean, so named during the Venetian «the eye of the East».
